If you’re looking for training to be more effective in helping yourself and others around you, consider taking a training through one of these available platforms:

Welltrack Boost is a self-guided, clinically supported, CBT-based, set of tools that assist individuals assess, understand, and work on their own behavioral health and wellness. In New Mexico you can access this program through the NMConnect app.

NM 5-Actions is a self-guided online program that helps people understand and address addiction. In New Mexico you can access this resource here

CAMS-cares is an evidenced based suicide focused treatment protocol that offers a Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality. Learn more about CAMS here. Join a NMCAL sponsored CAMS-TRAINED course here.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a course that helps people recognize the signs and symptoms of mental illness, giving people the reassurance to find help for themselves or others. Classes are regularly offered throughout our community and can be found on the MHFA website.

Question Persuade Refer (QPR) is a one hour class that helps people recognize and respond to the signs and symptoms of suicide. Trainings available online

Zero Suicide practices have been shown to support the reduction of suicide in communities. Learn more about the recommended training options here

Telephone Crisis Intervention Training Videos highlight the comprehensive clinical training each of our clinical specialists receives. The training is also beneficial for mental health professionals, crisis line volunteers, and concerned citizens. Click here to watch the online modules.
